    I can't say how much I love this color...it works on so many levels! I can use it for a smokey brown eye look, use it as an intense crease color, dry to line for a softer look...and wet to line...

    Proflady below described the colour really well. I love this because it is one of the few dark colours I can use to create the smoky eye look without looking like a panda. Goes beautifully with Vex.

    really great color to use wet to line. looks great with Vex or other all over colors. i have this in my Nordstrom palette, as well as my holiday eye palette. if i ever run out, i will repurchase.

    In the pot it kind of looks like a charcoal color with eggplant colored tones to it, applied it looks like a soft light black.

    To me, this is a deep brownish-eggplant colour- a hint of purple, a hint of taupe, even a bit of reddish shimmer. Odd. Very nice as a liner, though.

    Smut is a staple in my makeup case. I use it as a liner and as a shadow. Not for everyday, but I like it to go out...It's a browny, frosty, grey with a bit of red shimmer...a great color.

    This is a deep brownish plum. Great for the crease or for lining! Perfect for the smokey eye look. You can buy this at the free standing Mac stores (they don't sell this online)
