I know it’s a bit more $$ but Verb Glossy heat spray or the Verb Ghost Prep+
I tried one and a conditioner. Didn't care for either. My hair didn't feel clean or conditioned.
I can only suggest what’s helped me. First, skip volumizing and thickening s/c. They’re drying AF+
