If it's just been washed and conditioned I use a small amount of leave-in conditioner to combat frizz. Then I apply a curl cream and scrunch that in.

I agree about brushing, only brush when hair is wet and be gentle++
I use the Denman to clump & form curls & evenly distribute products. It's not for detangling. Good luck!

Pretty hair, can see it wants to spiral. Can't advise on fine/wavy, I need products that weigh ++
hair down. I agree with 1017, the Denman 7 row brush helps definition, there is a learning curve. Manes by Mell on YouTube is a great source.

I wash with a colors safe / sulfate free shampoo (up to you on this part, I just do these). I use Aussie Miracle Coils or I will wash with AG Colour
