Don't. I have rosacea w/ oily clog prone skin, and if my rosacea is acting up and my skin is hurty+
I just stop all actives and do not exfoliate. If your skin is calm enough to exfoliate, try a very gentle chemical exfoliation like patting on CosRx

I love the Clearasil ones. Have never tried Cosrx, though. Dislike the Welly ones from Target.
