Likely stupid question: why are ceramides better than Vaseline et al for barrier repair?
I second Lizzy below. Layer and seal it with an occlusive, vaseline has saved my skin at times
Not a serum but Squalane Oil (though it's technically not an oil). Jojoba Oil also mimics sebum but+
Like other below, gentle bland cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. Vaseline helps too.
