Vaseline to hold the moisture in. I can't use any retinol type of product. My skin is too sensitive. I too would be hesitant to try again.

You shouldn't start using it every day. Start every other day or every 2nd till you see how your ++
skin handles it. You should stop using & let you skin heal. Maybe use a cream with ceramides or lite layer of vaseline over moisturizer. Gentle clean
