Volumizing shampoos usually dry your hair out regardless. I have spider web fine hair and I find+++
just using a shampoo for "normal" or "color - treated" works best. Only put conditioner at the ends and up a little, never getting close to the roots

It's fine to wear other colors with black mascara, I do it all the time. Mineral Fusion has ++
brown mascara. And yes, you can do black liner in a subtle way. Using powder eyeshadow is one option; for me, wet/dry eyeshadows work best for this. O
