If it's a cream foundation I stipple it on with a stipple brush, otherwise I apply with my fingers++
and then use the appropriate brush or sponge for that formula that works best (if needed), which I find out from trial and error.

I would take a look at any of the Clinique powders
knowing Clinique is a gentler line, but first check out The L’Oreal one. I apply the porcelain shade with a warmer shade to achieve a color that works
