I really wanted to like this but it just doesn't work with my chemistry. It has a sharp, synthetic smell. After a few minutes it smells a lot like rubber. Very odd. Try before you buy.

I am thrilled to discover Violetta di Parma. It is a sparkling fragrance, starting out like the heart of a rich apricot pansy, the kind that knock you over with their spring laughter at the local...

Absolutely beautiful! I don't think I've ever smelled a real violet in my life so I can't really compare the scents. This *smells* like it would be real, meaning it lacks that certain "off" smell...

Oh, how I would like to say that I loved "Violetta Di Parma"... But, I didn't :o( . VdP is a blend of violets, lily-of-the-valley, lilacs and musk. It's calming, fresh, not so powdery and...

For a simple violet fragrance I think this is fantastic. The violet here smells fresh and green to me. Not too sweetened or powdery. It's the closest thing I've found so far to the smell of the...

I enjoy this fragrance. It is how violet perfume should smell. I was attracted to it because it is a violet fragrance and the history behind it (was a favorite of Marie Louise, Napoleon Boneparte's...

This is a lovely, simple and sweet fragrance. It's also the first violet that I've truly enjoyed the whole time I was wearing it. This has a soft muskiness note on me as it dries down--I kept...

This is a lovely, simple fragrance for days when you need things to be uncomplicated. I had been put off violet fragrances because they were often too powdery and synthetic or blended with notes I...

I confess that I am partial to the violet probably more than any other note. Violets, to me, are reminiscent of springtime, and my early childhood which is ripe with memories of extended romps in...
