IMO this is a typical black e/l. I can get the same use from a 99 cent e/l. Definitely not as smooth as e/k.

This is a nice soft black with a hint of shimmer. While I prefer the kohl formulation of pencil, the blackened eye kohls are a bit harsh and I prefer a softer black like the Ebony.
