I tried this as a deep conditioner for the first time last night. And I am VERY happy with the results. I have been eschewing chemical products for natural hair care (I have fine, straight hair)....

Alright, so I've been trying a lot of DIY beauty treatments lately; I have sort of a list of well known recipes and have been going through them one by one. I prefer to use natural, simple remedies...

Wow! I am shocked at how shiny this made my hair! My hair looks just as pretty and glossy as if I just dyed it. Here is what I did: I put full fat mayo (I just got the cheap generic kind) on...

I did this not that long ago. The only thing I have to say is that the only good thing about putting mayo on your hair is the fact that it makes your hair nice, soft, and shiny afterwards. The...

Just a little background on my hair: 4A/4B with some 3C, over-dyed, dry. I am a conditioner junkie (just about all I use on my hair is conditioner), and if I run out, I am in trouble, because it...

This is a great treatment if your hair got dried out/damaged like mine did from highlighting and straightening. I slather it on, leave in for a few minutes, then wash out with Matrix Essentials...

I was looking for a good deep conditioner and I stumbled upon this! I used it on Friday for around 20 minutes. I applied it to dry hair and then shampooed and conditioned and rinsed well. It...

I tried this last night and it worked like a charm! My hair is pretty long, and it had been feeling dry, damaged and strawlike from regular blow dryer and curling iron use. Conditioner wasn't...

I don't know if most people know this, but mayo can be used as a natural (vs chemical) way to kill lice! It's true! If you apply it heavily (must be REAL mayo), then cover hair with saran wrap or...

Yes, mayo will make your hair soft and conditioned, but it also makes your head stink for several days. There are other ways to condition hair that don't make you smell like a deli.
