it is laundry soap, look for it on the laundry aisle at Walmart ++
I have used MANY different things to clean brushes, and this is simply the best. --Gets them clean --Rinses clean --Cheap! From my Notepad:

No. Try Zote instead. Dr Bronners is too drying while not removing makeup well

I am a Zote lover too, but the only brushes I don’t care to clean with it ++
are the white Morphe brushes, it makes them really scratchy so I use a super-fatted Castile soap I get from a local soap maker for them.
