Wella’s Pro lines run one level dark. So a level 2 is going to be black. Their ++
Pigments are made in Europe where the level system starts at 2. Our system in the US starts at 1, which is black. So you won’t find any level 1s. 2

I don’t use Wella but took a quick look and didn’t see any labeled as soft black. Maybe+
I missed it or they were referring to one of the darker browns?

Philosykos / Using Aveda products these days, which smell nice. Used to love Herbal Essence ++++++

Wella Color Fresh mask. There are a couple of shade options to check out++
Sally’s now carries this. It’s pricey but you can dilute it and it will still deliver plenty of punch. You’ll just need to leave it in the hair a tad
