I have both Kai and Terra Nova Gardenia, and while I've never found a "dupe" of any fragrance, like
my post said, Terra Nova is an alternative, in that it is a realistic soliflore and someone who enjoys Kai could very well enjoy the Terra Nova Garden

in a class all it's own. I also love Rose Kai. One Summer and I grabbed the Terra Nova edp. to try. It was ok but had a note that really didn't agree

As it is my one of my absolute favorite fragrances I can tell you there is no substitute for Tova++
If there were I wouldn't keep buying up vintage, lol! I personally find Egyptian and China Musks like Terra Nova can turn too sweet and laundry like.

I don't know that one but Kuumba made or terra nova pikake lei is good too if you like kai
