(usually 1-3 months) just like with any antibiotics. Your derm didn't prescribe topical Rosacea Treatment like Soolantra, Metrocream or such as well?

The Soolantra should still be effective even
if you are wiping off your cleanser & there is a residue behind. I myself add a moisturizer before I apply my Metrogel & it continues to help my rosa

YMMV, but Soolantra alone never helped me. I agree that if you need some immediate relief+
you could add in another tx - could be low dose doxy (you can just use 20 mg generic doxy 2x/day, which is cheaper than Oracea), or it could be 2.5% B
