Try shaking the bottle before spritzing. I have Five O'Clock Gingembre and love it and the ginger does come through at least in the bottle I have. So

I love Gelous...most here would probably recommend adding thinner to your old bottle to revive it, but I usually throw it out when it gets thick :)

There are some YouTube tutorials in which they add oils to revive dried out/broken SS shadows.

I know people will day use Duraline to revive, but ++
I vote for tossing. It's not expensive, better to get a fresh one.
