They're an antioxidant + promote collagen formation. You shouldn't apply them at the same time++

IMO, you don't need eye cream unless you have puffiness or sensitivity to most+
regular moisturizers. Definitely try applying actives, ie: retinals, anti-oxidants and acids under eyes and on brow bone to brow as the area tolerates
