I think because of the Cerave marketing machine. The thing is... they're common in nearly every moisturizer, it's just not the advertised ingredient.

Your skin might need less exfoliation - you list Differin, AHA, and BHA. That is a lot+
and might be fine for some, but try skipping exfoliants for a bit. Also make sure your acids are not in a drying base. Some use a lot of alcohol.
