I installed a salt-free water conditioner. It helped a ton. Also using a clarifying+
shampoo that is chelating once a week, or using demineralizing packets like Philip Kingsley, Malibu C or Ion (from Sally’s) weekly will also help.

I have a water softener for my house and it barely makes a difference with our extremely hard +
water. Worse than any other place I've lived. I use Ion Hard Water shampoo once a week to clarify

This is a good one for adding moisture to those wiry NON compliant gray/white coarse puppies. You only need a small amount to start. And it adds shine
