Waaait, is Nivea supposed to be good? Here it's a very common drugstore brand and I never gave it a
second thought... Can you mention which product you mean or is it the general body cream?

Have tried both. My skin prefers German Nivea because it's more hydrating+
La Mer was ok but nothing great. I would prefer the Nivea even if La Mer were the same price as German Nivea.
