It really matters where you get information about cosmetics from - basically the rule of thumb is +

Even CeraVe or Neutrogena has better sunscreens than brands that have always focused on+
makeup and perfumes. As far as I know, some of the European pharmaceutical brands are also sold in the US nor. Elta MD is also a good one.
