If I suspect propanediol/propylene glycol makes me break out should I avoid a product containing+

Yes that's what I recall, but I bought around 6 Klorane shampoos at the same time and I can't +
remember the specific details of each. They sell small bottles (3.3oz), so maybe start with one of those to see if you like it?
