2nd. I hate scents as well and just started using Jessicurl +
I have 2b/c wavy hair and I air dry. I combine Curvaceous Curls and Rockin' Ringlets (about a nickel of each, applied together).

what mostly works for me is a leave in conditioner, LA looks sport blue gel (just a little bit) and plopping out of the shower. if i use too much gel

Jessicurl does a no fragrance version but they dont have a heat prrotection. Nonothing makes one but

You want to do it on soaking wet hair++
I use a microfiber towel and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Once I remove the towel, I don’t touch my hair until completely dry. I don’t diffuse. Jess
