although my hair is thick, medium/coarse, dense, wavy/curly so not sure if it is good for all hair types but I like it a lot

Two excellent ones that are light weight are Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum and Paul Mitchell ++
Super Skinny Serum. They are both scented with what I call a "pretty shampoo smell", but they're not overwhelming.
