I don't think topicals can provide "wow" results. They can just slow down signs of aging, rop
fade hyperpigmentation, moisturize/soothe skin etc. but they can't erase wrinkles, get rid of dark circles, make pores smaller, cure Rosacea or such.

You derm is just trying to sell the brand. Stick with unfragranced products (whether chemical or "natural") and w/o essential oils, denatured alcohol
