L'Oreal acquired Essie in 2010, so it's been an evolution to retail sales (Essie was a salon brand)+
with Gel Couture, TLC, Expressie, changing the brush, etc. (also why you don't see much happening with Maybelline, NYX, or L'Oreal polish anymore). H

Essie has improved tremendously in recent years- I love them! It's my favorite mainstream brand.

I agree. But TBH their formula improved a lot in the past several years. The cremes are++
so good now. I'm loving Essie a lot lately.

I remember it being very streaky and hard to level. I recently repurchased and just put it on for a second time in a row and it’s perfection!
