I agree. It is hard to find a haircutter that understands wavy/curly hair. When you find that cut+
hair cutter, it is worth the money. Check for stylists with additional training. Deva curl site has a salon finder. Also the natural curly site.

I agree with squeezing out as much water as possible. I like using a pillow case. Deva method +
suggests clipping the roots for volume.
