Yes, been using #2 (Mono, Damier, Damier Azure) since college/20 yrs. Never used a wallet. +
It's so nice to just grab phone & key/card case when I need to run in places real quick. I honestly don't even carry a purse 80% of the time.

If you want leather, I would do LV empriente leather, hands down. Skip gucci and prada, their +
leather does not wear well. Even my saffiano prada wallet is wearing like junk. For the most bang for your buck, I'd do LV canvas in mono or damier

If it's monogram or Damier it's not leather. It's treated canvas. Trim is leather.
