I would still with squirrel, but go with something like Chikuhodo Z-4 or the Hakuhodo 6050/6051.+++
The Hakuhodo brush is a kebo, I have a smaller one for highlight. They look weird, but I prefer them to fan brushes. I'm not a fan of brands like Suqq

The Chikuhodo definitely gives a diffused application of blush. It is also great for blush that ++
is hard to pick up like the Clinique flower pop blushes.
