I’d say that lip oils (the really good ones) are very different than Vaseline, which I’m ++
Definitely not a fan of and never have been tbh, not even when I lived in upstate NY. I used Carmex or Blistex then, which were the only options back

Lip balms that are marketed to treat cold sores, like Carmex, can make your lips worse because they’re designed to dry up cold sores.
