I use Beauty Secrets from Sally's and it has never melted any of my glitters. Works great.

I would get OPI or Orly brand. Beauty Secrets can melt glitters and shreds in nail polish. +
I always do around 5 drops, shake and see if I need more. Don’t be afraid to use more.

Seche Restore or Beauty Secrets brand at Sallys. Instructions say start ++
with a few drops/2-3 and add as needed. Yeah, 2-3 drops is a joke. I usually start with 8-10 and add as needed.

In all my years I've never thinned a polish too much, but it can happen. I do about 4-6 drops at a time.
