Ahhh a dumb hair ruined the experiment it’s like 2.5 coats
I had to wipe the hair off and it wiped off all the polish but just doing 1 more coat seems so dark idk There was a moment before I spotted the hair

I also used ÜNT peel off base coat because I wasn’t sure about the color and under a press on with glue I painted (it’s popped off twice since noon).

I also keep my nails short for work and have found that base coat, polish, a clear coat, and ++
QDTC keep my polish on for a week. As far as shades, have you tried Zoya? Good luck!

First off keep your nails super healthly with frequent moisturizing and avoiding water immersion +
when possible. Then use a good base coat and top coat.

Chipping can be the brand of polish, top coat, or base coat. Trial and error is a pain. What works for me: Barielle base coat, Duri Miracoat fast dry
