Sticky basecoat makes ALL the difference+
Even switching initially to a ridge filling base coat vastly improved my results. I think they have some of the same properties of Bonder or Stickey.

In my experience, it is either nail health or chemistry that causes chipping. I almost never +
get a chip. I use CND Solar oil on bare nails, massaged in, followed by Nailtiques 2+ as a base coat. Seche Vite is my go-to top coat.
