What did you hate about the LA? Just curious. I can't get Aussie Freeze Gel to wow me. LA is my+
default, but not perfect. I can see if you live in a dry climate the LA may not be the best option at all. And which gel (hold product) are you using

I bought Aussie Instant Freeze and like it a lot! I have fine/thin 3b curls and when I SOTC my +
hair looks full, not wet-head, and the curls hold well.

Ecoslay Jello Shot is good, scrunches out well & still holds, is natual. Also Aussie Instant....
Freeze 20 hour gel - it has strong hold. Cast isn't as easy to scrunch out, that's good for me. Day 4 and my heavy 2c/3a-b curls are still defined.

I am a 2b and can get great curls if my application method is right. I apply to very wet out of ++
shower hair. I apply a curl cream (AG Recoil Cur Activator) or you could use a leave in if you need more moisture (or a leave in and some curl cream)
