I use an oil, like argan, before I hop in the shower, then ROP
I bathe, wash hair, etc. and then I use an exfoliating cloth to get the oil and flakes off. Also, TO peeling solution helps with the flakes.

The texture is different, but nothing argan oil can't help tame. I'd rather use oil on the ends +
than chemicals on the scalp. I was fine with coloring my hair when I was lightening it, but once it got tot he point I needed low lights to add color,
