Switch to non-SLS toothpaste. Avoid fragrance (chemical & "natural") in lip products and also avoid+
"medicated" lip balms with Camphor, Menthol etc. Rinse lips after washing face/brushing teeth. Avoid long-wearing, matte lipsticks. Some good lip balm

Tips to keep my lips hydrated & not peel.
I drink plenty of water, use a non sulfate toothpaste, use & love Aquaphor. I think I have a habit of peeling/ biting off any small amount of dry skin

PBI: Vaseline/aquaphor and the like don't work for everyone; I have very dry sensitive ++
skin and they will break me out, big time! Or on an allergy-prone area (eyes), make them swell shut.
