I only use aquaphor on my lips or body. I use cerave healing balm under my eyes at night r/o
For all over my face I have used plain vaseline. Although I did see that Cetaphil has a new balm that looks nice. Eucerin has one too.

ITA about the CeraVe product on lips but it works nicely as occlusive on face at night - r/o
as I do switch off between that and Aquaphor as my last-step occlusive over my Rx and moisturizer.:) Aquaphor is terrific for lips:)

something I would only use occasionally because the US version has an antibacterial ingredient - I used it once when my skin was super irritated/rashy

My son just puts CeraVe ointment or Aquaphor in a thin layer over his eczema spots around his eyes+
before bed so he doesn't wake up with tons of flaky skin. That way, even though it is sheeny, he is just going to bed.

It depends on what is going on with my skin. If I am hyper senstive and need basic, then Vaseline++
because it is one ingredient. If it is an eczema patch, Aquaphor. Right now I am using CeraVe Ointment daily around my eyes. It is thinner than Aqu
