The shampoo is more effective than the conditioner. Definitely makes a difference for my curly hair -- which can get parched at times. Can buildup if it's the only thing you're using.

Sap Moss Shampoo has an earthy scent that is definitely an acquired taste. It is very moisturizing and I love it for my dry curly hair. I think it is overpriced but so are all of Aveda's products.
