If you are putting Vaseline on right after skin damp it willl seal in moisture.+
It is very gentle and also it helps wounds heal faster too.

YMMV: Try it for yourself. I have eczema (age 65) and use a bland body lotion ++
often mixed with oil, apply right out of the shower to wet skin. My skin hates ointments such as Vaseline or Aquaphor, they make me ITCH.

i kind of agree w/ u - the fact that the procedure is to shower and then use vaseline tells me the+
vaseline is really great at sealing in water, and that's why she is saying it's a great moisturizer. maybe this is a case of semantics.

think it ADDED moisture. So I was always taught (by derms in the past): shower, lotion or cream...THEN Vaseline to seal in the moisture the lotion/cr
