The KAI Group was founded in 1908 in Seki City, in Japan’s Gifu Prefecture, which is globally recognized as one of the world’s leading cutlery manufacturing centers. Initially focused on the production of high-quality pocket knives, the company evolved as it grew, and went on to create Japan’s first disposable razors and other products for personal grooming. Today, as the KAI Group, we offer a full range of cutlery products for cooking, grooming and medical use. Having refined our blade manufacturing processes and cutting technologies for over a century, we continue to draw on that expertise to create high-value products that meet the evolving needs of society.
