C & The Moon was created by Carson Meyer, a birth doula and actress from Malibu, CA. In 2016, Carson graduated from New York University where she studied alternative health and the mind/body connection. Carson returned home to Malibu and received her birth doula certification and has been supporting families through their transition to parenthood ever since. She is a co-chair of the NRDC Los Angeles Leadership Council, an organization that brings together scientist and lawmakers to defend environmental policy and regulations. Carson's passion for environmental health led her to create her own non-toxic and eco-friendly skincare product out of the organic ingredients in her kitchen. Growing up with an environmentalist mother, Carson has always been aware of the harmful toxins that can be absorbed through our skin. However, it wasn't until becoming a doula that she got to see first hand just how much information the skin - our largest organ, takes in from the environment around us. C & The Moon was founded on the belief that the way we care for ourselves has a direct impact on how we care for our planet.
