Extension Lashwear

Bought this in 04, which is a dark purple/mauve. Nice color, but doesn't really show on the lashes. The mascara does some lengthening, some separating but starts clumping after the third coat....

blaah. The brush is in curved shape but it is horribly hard and the mascara does not make my lashes black. Where is the color here? It made my lashes a bit longer( what I am not really after...
