description

The name Kimonanthe evokes both kimono and osmanthus. It also conjures up a slight rustling of silk, the taste of tea prepared for the ceremony, subdued light on paper shojis... Kimonanthe is an homage to Japan with a mingling of incense powder, zukoh and Asian osmanthus, the small white flower that smells of apricot and soft leather. Like an unlikely but poetic collage, this scent escapes all attempts at classification. It is something between spices, candied fruit and leathery roundness. Zukoh is a traditional incense kept in a powder form in a small, finely decorated wooden box that one carries in the sleeve of one’s kimono to always have it handy. Olfactory Collection: Oriental. Raw materials: Osmanthus, Zukoh, Sandalwood. Olfactory Accident: Star Anise. 3.4 oz. Made in France.
