ONLY AT SAKS. is the code name for the perfume Kilian created as an homage to his family heritage, with a wink to New York! Brandy is a term that refers to "Cognac": It defines any product that is not produced in the region of Cognac. Just as "Champagne", "Cognac" is an AOC, a Controlled Origin Appellation. Hennessy products are, of course, all produced in Cognac. In order to recreate this very specific "Cognac" scent that is part of Kilian's olfactive memory, Sidonie Lancesseur created an accord combining the smoked wood from the oak casks - Cedar wood from Texas, white cedar from China and labdanum from Spain - and the sugar from the alcohol - vanilla and ambroxan. Apple is a wink to New York, the "Big Apple". Sidonie created an "apple accord", more like an "apple liquor", which rather blends than contrasts with the "oak cask" accord. She combined manzanate to rum and plum. Refillable Spray housed in a lacquered wood coffret. 1.7 oz. Made in France.
