    I like the matte lipstick in Plum, though I do use a lip gloss underneath it so my lips don't dry out during the day. It has good staying power and average mosturizing ability.

    Reasonable pricing and a wide range of colors. I usually use maybelline or body & soul lipsticks but when I need a unique color, I'll choose MAC.

    I think that MAC do a great selection of colors, but I find that they don't last that long on me and some of the matt shades are quite drying. EDIT: Taupe is a HG for me, even if it is drying!
