    it was green and fresh, like all Demeter products the sillage and longevity are lacking, but they are all spunky and meant to recreate a memory through scent. This they do well. I think of bamboo...

    This smells like a cheap candle to me. It's vaguely woodsy and aquatic, but though the scent is fresh it's not bamboo. I'd prefer something a little less sweet, and more earthy.

    Bamboo reminds me of the smell of sawgrass -- that stuff that cuts your legs when you walk through a field. A hot, summery smell to me.

    Disappointing. This smells more like wet paper than bamboo. But don't worry - you won't smell like wet paper for long, considering this fragrance totally disappears after ummm.....30 seconds.

    <P>disappointingly weak. it has a generic veg/aquatic smell, like so many other demeters. theres nothing about this that screams bamboo. youd be better off with wet garden or thunderstorm.</P>
