I think this top coat made my regular polish chip more than without anything. Doesn't that defeat the whole idea of applyin a top coat?

This product does do a good topcoat job. And like the other Sally Hansen products, it's well-priced. I found this to be strong and shiny. Good over nail color or on its own as a clear coat.

It worked pretty good for me. It shined nicely, but it does NOT protect against chips. And if you don't reapply every other day, it dulls. But that applies to most top coats anyway.
