    sometimes i like to do a purple/violet as my top liner and this pencil in wild orchid works nicely. does smudge after long wearing so im always sure to routinely check it throughout the day

    Not the best pencil, a beautiful shade, but it drags terribly. I had high hopes for it too. Boo hiss! The first MAC product I've not really liked well.

    Violet eyeliner is a true violet shade. It reminds me of violet pigment without the shimmer. Sadly, this pencil is not really useful for me. It drags so much on application that it hurts my skin....

    Great color, but it's not very smooth which means I don't reach for it much. Violet pigment makes a much better liner.

    I agree completely with meToo, this is the exact color purple of a crayola crayon. I love using this as a base for my shimmerline glitter eyeliner, makes it look SO good.

    This is my favorite purple liner. A true Crayola type purple of a medium depth. A must have for green eyes, for sure.
