Hard to believe now, but I tried this once the Epices de la Passion coffret had just been released and didn't care for it. I recently revisited it when I heard Safran Troublant was going to be...

Safran Troublant is a bit of a misnomer for me as I actually *don't* get much saffron from it - just enough to make the scent interesting. On me this is a lovely blend of creamy vanilla and...

There are more reviews for this under Safran Troublant. A pretty mix of vanilla, saffron, sandalwood and some rose. Overall, this is gentler than Agent Provocateur, and more wearable for those who...

Like I need another vanilla in my collection but man, oh man, am I in love!!! A foody vanilla scent which has verrrrry subtle floral rose undertones and a warm sandalwood base. The saffron is loud...

I cannot compliment Safran Troublant enough. this saffron and vanilla concoction smells lovely and creamy without being overly sweet or dessert-ish, and goes on lightly without being overwhelming....

I've been having troubles with saffron lately -- everytime I try a fragrance with the note in it, even in my formerly beloved Agent Provocateur, it goes completely astringent and rancid on my skin....

This is a lovely scent, but I mix essential oils as a hobby and saffron essential oil diluted to 20% with a little vanilla does the trick less expensively, at least on me.

Safran Troublant is a very unusual scent, something I've come to associate with L'Artisan Parfumeur. This EDT is absolutely perfect for fall. It's extremely strange and spicy on first smell, kind...

There are three scents in this group, Les Epices. I am writing about the one, Safran Troublant, is what I would call a true and complete original. Usually known for its exotic line, L'Artisan has...

Saffron, vanilla, rose, sandalwood. Creamy and softly spicy, my favorite of the three philtres. I don't find the saffron to be savory in the least. It is, after all, the stamen of a flower...

This... I dont know. Creepy a little. It definitely lasted the best out of the trio AND turned into something nicer than it started out as. I'm not sure yet and I'm sure I'll update. But at...

This was the only philtre that I liked from the epices trio. The first 30 minutes, though, were horrid, for a personal scent, I mean. It smelled exactly like saffroned rice. Do not get me wrong,...

This fragrance smelled like the stale, slightly musty scent of an Indian restaurant that has closed for good. Definitely not a good scent for me.

The new offerings from L'Artisan Parfumer are disappointing, to say the least. After a quick spritz and sniff to satisfy my curiosity when the package arrived, I was so unimpressed that further...

Based on Barbarellaboys reviews I wanted to love this. Alas, I was sorely let down. This scent is a dead ringer of the mens talcolm powder that comes in the green metal container at the drug...

The Golden Philtre – Safran Troublant (Saffron Spell). <p>If you thought L'Artisan's Vanilia was a sexy, adult bourbon, wait until you sniff this baby! Quite simply, I adore this. The golden,...
