    Carbon is not a good eyeshadow colour. It plus more grey than black. However, I never use MAC's Carbon as an eyeshadow, I use it for eyeliner. Smudging Carbon into the lash line is the best way...

    I mainly use this as eyeliner. I use on days when I want my eyeliner to look more subtle than it would with a liquid or gel liner. I apply it with a MAC 210 brush.
